Club Run to 'somewhere a little north of Bendigo' and BBQ

On a cold and cloudy Saturday morning, (yes I know this story begins very much like the last one, but I'm going to have to make this up, seeing I didn't go on the run. Ok, I'll try harder.) At 11am on Saturday morning, eager members started rolling up to the Clubhouse in anticipation of another fun filled day out on the road with the smell of un-burnt fuel in the air and the feel of wind in their hair. Along with the regulars faces, it was nice to see some irregular faces come along for the cruise, including some new members signing up for Club membership. It was not long before everyone fired up their machines and headed off to 'somewhere', blindly following the Prez - who on the odd occasion has been known to make a wrong turn or two. But, he's the Prez, and we trust him completely. Later we all stopped 'somewhere' to regroup and discuss what an exciting cruise to 'somewhere' it had been so far. It was mentioned by someone what a lovely place 'somewhere' was, and maybe we should come back sometime.
Returning to Bendigo from 'somewhere a little north' - it had been an un-eventful - or was it eventful? - cruise, most members came back to the Clubhouse for a barbie and a few coldies.
A nice afternoon to kick back with the sun shining, the meat barbequeing and the beers frothing. Thanks to everyone that came along. To the kids summoning the spirits with the rock circles and candles, don't come running to your parents when things go horribly wrong, and Brendan, you probably shouldn't be allowed to play with a lighter and can of hair spray. Just havin' fun they say.
So, at 10.30 pm, as the day was coming to an end for most, the more hardened members were just starting to get the taste, so not sure what time the candles were extinguished, but it may have been late. Interestingly there were a couple of members cars still parked in the same position at the Clubhouse mid-morning on Sunday. Not sayin' whose cars......
Aaahhh, a good day apparently.

We'll see you on a cruise somewhere!
Or if Brendan graduates to the next level of arson, perhaps on the front page of the newspaper.........
